Hi!
Just saw a nice Dahon (single speed) bike for sell. The price is good and I already have the upgrade parts (fixed hub, etc.)
But ...
Sorry for saying that, I really dont like the Dahon STEM.
I'm more into the standard quill stem that does not fold
I would like to know if it can be replaced with a standard stem ?
Did someone ever did the job ?

I'm actually asking how can I convert the Fork-Stem ?

Thanks !

Just out of curiosity, what's not to like about the fork? Is it not swooshy enough for you? ;)

2005 and after, several of the models have threads inside the fork tube.
You either have to have the new fork threaded or have to find a proprietary
fork, which may be more difficult.
Egads. What else? So far I know about the handlepost, and the 7-speed Neos derailleurs are also proprietary....
