Commuting - Jerry-rigging a BOB trailer to work with a locking skewer?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I really like having a Kryptonite locking skewer on my rear wheel, but I also like my Bob trailer which uses its own special rear wheel skewer. Yet also I dislike having to switch back and forth between skewers. Anyone figured out how to have a locking rear wheel and a BOB trailer co-existing? (Due to the way that the Dijango bike is designed, a locking skewer is the sanest, simplest way to secure the rear wheel.)

Have you tried the BOB forum?

As an alternative, is it possible to drill/modify the QR handle to work with a small lock? Can think of a few other inelegant solutions to this but they all some a little hokey.

A simpler solution might be one of the bomber Kryptonite cable locks, because even if you got the locking skewer to work they could still walk off with the Bob trailer. Though I'm sure you were hoping to come up with a simpler/lighter alternative.
Checked out the Django online, not many locking options on that frame are there?
Can you at least get a u-lock around the frame and the front wheel?

Hmm, you'd need to replace the cam-head with the locking cam-head. Strictly, it's just an eccentric bar, held on with (usually) a circlip. I'd get into the shed and destroy one or two figuring out how to do it :)
