I am trying to find some carriers or even individual cogs for my cassette and have been told by numerous LBS and websites that shimano doesnt make or sell carriers or cogs for the 7700 dura ace cassettes. I would like to change my 12-13-14-15-16-17-19-21-23 to a 12-13-14-15-17-19-21-23-27.

I think I need one carrier with a 17-19 and another with a 21-23-27. Is this right? Or even possible? Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where I can find the carriers or order these individually?

27 exists ONLY as part of a 21-24-27 "carrier" setup.

Carriers are theoretically available, but in practice you can't get them.

Shimano has structured the pricing so that the carriers cost almost as much as a complete cassette. As a result no distributor stocks them, because the demand is zero.

My advice is to just buy an Ultegra 12-27 http://harriscyclery.net/itemdetails.cfm?ID=766

My local performance just ordered me an 11 tooth and spacer for my Ultegra 6500 for $10.. I could not find anyone online that would do that.. sweet..
