View Full Version : Hmm just a thought.
I think someone from Norcal should be a moderator. I know, I know we don't have TONS of traffic in this section, but I'd like to think that that could change, and lots of people came together for that Jersey thing, I know we have lots of more people. Along with this we need to start doing more regular Norcal group rides. :D But anyways, I think someone who frequents Norcal should be a moderator, to sticky topics, etc. Just so the forum seems more organized and seems like people ACTUALLY come here.
I nominate BigSean.

Wow. Has a moderator ever been in this forum? I am thinking of starting a monthly Nor Cal get together. July I am thinking Downiville, which has great road riding and great mt biking. Dauphin lives int the area, so he could maybe show us some of his roads. The mt bikers can shuttle the killer downhills, Id do both.:D

I'm in for a get together in July as long as it's at a cool location. I melt.
I don't know anyone here but BigSean gets my vote too.

I like the idea of a monthly ride! We could take turns "leading" our favorite ride...

Thats what I was thinking. It would be a great way to meet folks, and get to ride in some new places.

Monthly ride would be nice. Last Saturday of each month? We could use the 5/26 ride as the inaugural.
BTW, I like to start earlier than 9:30. Three hours of daylight is wasted by then and the ride would take most of the day that I usually want/need to spend with my family.

The start time of 9:30 was to accommodate some riders who could not start earlier. I do agree, an earlier start time would be great. 8 am or 9 am would be fine for me.

Anyone down to get a group for the Giro de Peninsula at the end of June: Giro Link (http://www.festafoundation.org/giro.html)
Maybe we'll have the jerseys by then and we can all ride together. I wanted to do the 100k ride and I may be pulling my daughter in her trailer if I can't find a baby sitter so maybe we can do an A and B group. B being the slower group I'd be in! hehe!
Anyone?
Gary
BTW, if I can get the okay from the boss (cough, cough, wife...) then I'm up for a monthly ride!

That would be very quick if the jerseys get here by then. Is Champ-Sys that quick?
