hello to everyone, i am a new resident at dancing rabbit eco village in rutledge missouri, and have been involved in critical mass rides and want to help bring them to the kirksville, mo area and quincy il. i love to ride and i think that it is guilt free transportaion, so i hope to learn more from this site and look forward to chatting with other like minded folk.

Welcome. Though not a proponent of critical mass, as I think it causes resentment against cyclists, not awareness, I applaud your efforts to increase cycling awareness. You may want to stop by the Advocacy and Safety forum, as there are lots of discusssions about CM in there. Make sure to check out all the other forums as well. FOO is a nice place to go chill out and the mechanics forum is loaded with knowledge and tips.

Hello Jason, a most interesting and worthy idea there with Dancing Rabbit.

I read the membership agreement, but am I missing something? What is the difference between a member and a resident?

Welcome to BF jmeier420. A very interesting idea you have there. You may want to check out the forum on "Living Car Free". They post ideas and information about leading a life without cars. I wish I could do it where I am all year. Snow and cold weather deter riding a bike in winter. Maybe it's not bad where you are.
