I think I saw a cyclist with some type of holder or mounting that contained a Hammergel flask. Obviously the holder had to be shape of the flask, of have some kind of clip or bracket. This was mounted on the stem or handlebar. Anyone ever see one of these? Or anything like it? Any kind of top-tube, stem or bar mount holders?

No, that's not the "good kind." I've lost flasks off that holder. The velcro isn't good enough. This is the one:

For some reason these things are only sold by tri stores.

Yeah ... they're commonly known as "handlebar bags".

Yeah ... they're commonly known as "handlebar bags". Brilliant, M, it's not for me, I keep my flasks in my pockets. But nice try, yuk yuk yuk,............

Thanks, for the links, I did not see those before. But, after I kept looking, I did find that Hammer nutrition, does indeed have a flask holster, and I figure I can rig it where it needs to go.

PS - the holder is to be used by a 69-year-old brevet rider, who has a difficult time reaching pockets while riding. He recently completed a 400k successfully. But in my never-ending quest to see his long distance potential maximized, I am moving him off of gel packs and into flask usage. Let's hope the flask is more efficient on the 600k.
