Is it possible to take the NX3(3 speed) assembly and put 140 spoke hubs on it? I've got a Micargi Rover NX3 and would love to put 140 spoke wheels on it. If anyone knows anything let me know. Thanks

I'm sure you'd have to do some serious modification to the hub.

Who makes these 140 spoke wheels. I've seen them but I haven't noticed them for sale. It would be cool if you could get or make an adapter ring that would attach to the 36H NX3 hub and allow you to lace up those 140 spoke wheels. Maybe it would look like old school high flanged road hubs. As long as the ring was shiney no would notice it. Of course it would take a month worth of free time to build a wheel with some many spokes.

Okay, since you bumped this seriously old thread, I might as well add that it's 144 spoke, and not 140 spoke.

we have tested on some other hubs, but no other options found till now
