marital problems and annoying things going on with work.
i said, "screw it" and went on a 40+ mile ride anyway......much better now (although the 45 mph gusts of wind were annoying!).

Well, if it makes you feel any better...
Yesterday, I got 13km out of town before I flatted out. Then, the guts of the valve stem came apart in my spare tube. Two buggered tubes, no extra spare, and no patch kit to fix the original one. I had to call my wife, ask her to leave work early and come rescue me. Today, it's just above freezing and it's pissing down rain (it's almost snow).
