Bicycle Mechanics - Campy Veloce Brake Bolt Too Short?!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hey, everyone -

More Pinnarello misadventures...

The Veloce group I ordered arrived today. When I went to install the brake calipers, I found the bolts to be far too short. The bike is a 2000 Prince; the fork thickness is about 45mm, and the rear stay thickness is about 30mm.

Are there replacement bolts available for carbon fork and stay installations? Or will I need to find a different brakeset?

Thanks,
Scott

Actually there are longer NUTS for that application. Check your LBS, they will probably have some.

Done! Found a local shop that had a couple 20mm nuts. Worked out fine.

Please call the female part the nut so your LBS doesn't think you're one.

Not sure why I wrote that. Posting faster than I'm thinking, apparently... :D
