Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just had a slim fast for lunch, and was reading the nutrition facts. It appears they would be good for an energy drink, or am I missing something?
I run ultramarathons, and can tell you that SlimFast, and its generic counterparts are pretty popular in the long distance running community. I'm not much of a dieter, but I love them for breakfast before a ride or run. The SlimFast bars are pretty good too! And they make some snack bars (smaller and better than the meal-replacement bars) that are as good as many candy bars.
I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...
I use the bars - esp the new chewy granola ones - and they seem to do OK . Be careful of the shakes - sometimes they would give me the "trots"
