I looked at a 2002 T1000 today that is in excellent shape. I'm a newbie to tandems and am not familiar with used pricing. It has a few upgrades from stock (tires, FD, rear wheel), and it includes a rack, bag, panniers, pump, crank stand, and SPD pedals. A test ride showed no issues. The price is $1250. Reasonable?
thx, Eric

Yup! If it fits, grab it before someone else does.
Enjoy the ride TWOgether!

I did a quick search & found that MSRP was about $2,200 & you could usually get it for less than that. So after 5 years, they are asking $1,000 less than new, plus some upgrades (almost 1/2 price).
Seems fair, based on condition.
That's what I was thinking. Now to convince the wife . . .
thanks, eric
edit:
using a $2600 replacement cost, the estimate is $1300 for mid range.
