Are Oryx bikes sold in US anywhere? Their web site says Canada only. Sounds like a good bike with good components for a good price. Went to my LBS yesterday (which was still over an hour away) and they only carried Trek. Had the 4500 for $460 which sounded a little high considering the components on that model. Thanks for any help.
I don't believe they're available anywhere in the US. I purchased the T125 this week and got back from a 20k ride about 2 hours ago. Excellent bike.... you can always visit Canada (if you're close to the border) and bring one home :)

There's a guy that sells a lot of them on ebay, mostly 2002 models. Here's the current offerings.

Yeah, I've seen the e-bay bikes. The Freak 250 sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Full suspension, Marzocchi fork, Shimano LX rear, Deore front for about $500. I know it's a 2002 model but any thoughts on this bike from the knowledgeble people on this board. Does anybody have this bike or know anyone that does? I would rather go to my LBS but I could probably get as much help at Wal Mart as I could with the guy in the store. The e-bay Oryx is a heck of a lot more bike for the same money at the LBS.

Make sure oryx will warranty it. Nothing wrong with buying a 2002 closeout. They are usually really cheap and still in great shape. Sorry I know nothing of that bike as we just got an oryx dealer here this year. :)
