Folding Bikes - Personal Best on Folder

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I did 45.5 miles today, 3 hours 7 minutes with average speed of 14.7 on the folder. I would have kept on going but my body was yearning for food since all I had this morning were 2 cups of coffee and 1 1/2 pint of water. It was a good ride despite the wind blowing and gusting to 30MPH. Maybe I can ride this weekend Ride the Drive. The most I ever rode on a bike was 35 miles, that was last year. Could have done the 50 but I will have it another day.
Good show! This was on your Dahon right?
What sort of route were you riding? (roads, trails/pathways, hills/flat, etc)
I'm surprised that you didn't need any other nutrition?
(e.g. power bars, bananas, ... anything!)

Yes the Speed D7. I was riding on flat and paved trails and on roads. Maybe I was motivated to ride farther by the heart rate monitor I was wearing and an older man on a mountain bike I met at the water fountain telling me he need another 6 miles and he will be done for the day. He had 27 miles already on his cyclometer while I had 14 miles. If he could go the distance, I could too right? I never bring any food with me on most of my rides, just plain water is enough for me.
