I shared this in the Touring thread, but I figured this group would also appreciate the lesson I learned. The video was shot in Belize of me, and another person, riding across a small swinging bridge.
The humor can be seen at this link:

On the second ride across I managed to cover myself with a little more grace:

In the end, I came out with good life lesson and some great video footage!
Enjoy!

Reminds me of the Army marching command. "Break step; march." The mass of the kids changed the resonant frequency of the bridge. Good move. Without their help maybe you could have picked up speed before hitting the bridge and rolled as far across it as you could without pedalling then picked as low a gear (thus as high a cadence) as possible and finished the crossing.

Any crocs? The one Costa Rican bridge I had to cross repeatedly had several, including one about 8' long. Ticans and tourists would toss raw chickens off of the bridge and watch the show.

I hope some day I have enough land to have something cool like that on it

You are right Ken, that is the method. Attack it and stay on the pegs like going down a rough hill. Then, spin it up the other side.
And yes, check for crocs (or caymans where are worse)
