Reminds me of a guy we had in my college who was working on something like his 6th undergrad degree.

I used to live across from her roomate (which she fooled) last year. Funny stuff though. This girl is planning to write a novel about her experience so I think there's some motivation for what she did-making cash out of controversy. This story is rated # 1 on reddit.com.

Let's see. This is on Stanford campus. We're supposed to be surprised, uh, why? [said just because Stanford has such a large student body]

Actually, I'm kinda impressed, in perhaps a perverse kind of way. Rather clever, and not as though she robbed a bank. Doesn't even appear that she robbed Stanford of any educational "value." Rather, she needed a place to crash, found one, and seems to have hurt no one in any intentional way.

Yes. It's wrong, wrong, wrong, that she didn't pay for her tiny room. Prosecute her for theft of a room. But, ya gotta admit, she's clever, and rather astute. A real businesswoman in the making. ;)

Beats the hell out of those on the campus near my house who actually assault students, sometimes at gunpoint.

Aye!
Listen to this mewling:

“Personally, I don’t feel safe now that Stanford allowed this to happen and that they’re not doing anything to ensure the safety of their students,” said Amy Zhou ‘08, Kim’s roommate in Okada. “I think something’s definitely wrong with the system if this could happen.”

Don't tell me... a freakin' lawyer in the making.

Awesome. I love it. This kind of stuff makes me have hope for the future.

On a side note, speaking of imposters, I had these friends who were identical twins, and went to the same college, were roomates, and had the same major and schedule, and dressed the same. They usually took exams for one another- they would split up the schedule and each one would take a half.

That happened when I was living in the dorms at Sacramento State. A guy's GF got evicted from her place so she just moved into his dorm room. She'd sneak into the building and to eat behind people, never had a key, wouldn't go to class, basically everything the girl in the article did. I don't think the RA's knew and if they did, they didn't care. We all thought it was funny this guy was hiding his GF in his room.
