Junior development team in Central/Southern IN?

My 10-year old son would like to try Juniors bike racing. I am really glad that he is interested in racing, but I'm not sure how to get him started. I told him that I would try - but I can't even find a juniors race in Indiana, let alone a team. Anyway, does anyone know of any junior teams in Central or Southern Indiana? Or maybe there is someone in my area that deals with junior racing that could help us get started? Any info would be appreciated.

Back when I raced juniors it was hard to find events. It seems like every single crit now has a juniors race. They may not list the specific Juniors races, but just about every crit will probably have a small juniors race. I would check with USACycling.org (USCF).

B-Town has enough cycling activity to throw out some good racing so maybe check with organizations there. Bloomington Bicycle Club might be a good group that could point you in the right direction.

Try Mob Squad Cycling (http://www.mobsquadcycling.net/). I don't know the details of their juniors program, but they've always impressed me with their teamwork, skill and sportstmanship. They're out of Indy, I believe.

My (exclusively Juniors) team visits Indy every Thursday night to race at Major Taylor. Go over to www.pistaelite.com and email Tony Smith, he's a really nice guy, but you'd have to trust your son to ride a board track.
