Hey i recently got a new frame and its an E-type front derraileur. Will it work with my existing RF isis bottom bracket. I hear you dont need the special bb with spacing as long as you space the one you have correctly.

what bottom bracket do you have? and does it have a spacer?
If it has a spacer, and your previous frame was 68mm, you should be good to go, you can also check race face's web site for tech info.

The Race Face SRX b.b is compatible with E Type front der. However if you have a fixed cup drive side b.b and it is adjustable between 68 and 73 it may work.

Hunter have you run into "noisy" SRX BB's? mine has fits, it squeeks, then it shuts up. I'm seriously thinking of getting a Evolve or going to another manufacturer.

The SRX is a more economical b.b. I have never persoanlly seen a squeaky one but upgrading to a Evolve b.b is not a bad descision.

I can barely see mine, I cant see ti squeek, but damn, can I hear it!! I'll replace it when it burns. No need to dip into the disk brake fund unless its an emergency.

Scooby, this year raceface has had some issues with bearing quality in their bb's (this is just me passing on what I have read elsewhere). The evolve is a good one but from what I have heard I would look elsewhere (FSA rocks too)
