Foo - finally get to ride again!!!!

going to have to take it real easy, giving myself an extra 30mins on my commute to work...

but finally i can ride again.


had to take what felt like years, but really just 4 - 6 weeks off due to health issues, but i'm back in the saddle.

Hey, nothing wrong with a nice, slow ride to get things started. When I first got back on the bike after my accident, I did the same thing (deep breaths hurt quite a lot, so I didn't have much of a choice in the matter...).

yesterday was great, as a co-worker pointed out it had been more like 7-10weeks.

i'd been trying to forget and not keep track of the time past.

i took it real easy and took today off, even though i felt i could ride.

its just weird having respiratory issues, unlike any illness/injury i have ever had, but i'm going to have to learn to deal with it as any other problem.

i'll never take riding for granted again, even small trips running neighborhood errands...

it's been 2wks since my last ride and i got cleared by the PT guy to start doing 30min rides yesterday. i'm tellin' ya, it felt absolutely great to be on the bike again yesterday. contemplating whether to go ride this morning or wait till the afternoon right now...can i do both??? :D

now all meds seem to be allowing me to have that deep breathing that has not been there for some time.

its been hard holding back, as i seem to have all this wind now.

may not gear down afterall, though i could use some spin time...
