Well they aren't really invisible..but they might as well be...they are so tiny!
..does anyone know of any other super shallow clincher rims? Like the Campy Victory Strada, or Campy Omega Strada Hardox XL?

I think the rims pictured might be tubular rims..see that little lighter strip between the rim and the tire? I think that's the base tape of the tubular tire.

No, Open sports (formerly MA3) are shallower than open pros.

my best guess is no.
you need an extra ~10mm for the lips of a clincher rim. [measured from where you put the rim stip to the outside edge of the rim].

I've got some old Mavic MA40 rims that are pretty shallow clinchers. Not too keen on the color, but they are pretty shallow for a double-wall:

I have 2 pairs of brand new (still in the box) Campagnolo Delta Strada XL clincher rims. They are are as low profile as you can get. I could sell them to anyone interested. They are 28 holes though. Shiny/satin silver finish. PM me (with your offer) if interested. I prefer local pickup (San Francisco).

Get rims that are designed for disc brake use exclusively and have no brake surface, like velocity vxc or salsa delgado disc @.@

They were originally laced to some Weinmann hubs and came with an '87 Peugeot I bought on eBay. I've seen some MA40s on some other listings, so they're still around; Not sure where you could just get the rims or wheelset though.

Be wary of getting single-walled rims for clinchers.. they're not as strong and don't keep in true as much.

if everything is invisible, how come we can still see the cat, the door, the walls, the...photo? a photo of invisible everything should be empty. however, that would also make it a picture of nothing. yet, nothing, by virtue of being even merely a concept, becomes something--that is, nothingness is self-negating. if everything in that photo were invisible, it would be identical to a picture of nothing, hence it would be something (even as an image of noting), and the "invisible everything" would also be negated.

I'm not gonna tell'em that ;)
They're nice rims, so I might purchase a few so I have for the years to come.
But $120  That's just sick. A Nemesis is way cheaper and just as good.

Don't take it personally. Yellow jersey is just way overpriced.

That's true, but the Mavic MA40 is a double-wall rim. They're pretty strong.
