Wow they are strong frames! Wasnt there a Kona frame on nashbar a while back for around 80 bucks?

Unbeleivable that they can withstand all of that beating, and be resold without qualms at the end of it all!

I've never questioned their durability. I've had 3 and still have one that is great. Great bikes and great company IMO. Would not hesitate to buy another one in the future.

Awesome :)

The only Kona durability issues I've heard of were with the old Explosifs (when they were still scandium). They've since switched the Explosif to good 'ol steel, and only offer a scandium bike in the Kula Primo...which is a race-only bike and not even advertised.

im on a Bear, and its not the frame that gets hurt: 1 seatpost, 1 fork, 1 wheelset, 1 headset, and 2 rear deraiullers later, the frame had a couple paint chips...
