This event, formerly known as "bike the buffer" is an off road bike tour through the over 7,000 acre Stewart State Forest. Registration begins at 9:00AM and the ride start is 9:30-10:30AM on Sunday, June 10th. After the ride there will be a bbq with hot dogs, veggie burgers and more. Pre-register by June 4th for $25, and receive a free t-shirt.
The tour has three courses:
1. 9 mile beginner ride that is on the old roads that run through the lands
2. 16 mile intermediate/experienced mostly off-road ride
3. 18 mile advanced off-road ride
Proceeds from the ride will go to benefit SPARC (Stewart Park and Reserve Coalition), the not-for-profit, citizen's action group dedicated to preserving the Stewart lands. For more info please visit the Sparc website:
