Hi folks,

I'm outfitting my new (NOS) 2004 Trek 520.
I was poking around online, & saw, among others Axiom Racks. They list on AEbike & elsewhere with decent load ranges (I think AE's a bit off on the Journey cuz 150lb sounds a bit high for AL), & an attractive price (made by rodent slaves in Asia somewhere I'd assume). Are they any good? I was thinking tubus, or maybe the Surley Nice Racks(bad price made by rodent slaves in Asia, but steel), or maybe old man mountain. Any thoughts? - Price is an object but not too bad of one.

I'm really liking my tubus racks on my 520. Super solid. Before that I had a blackburn lowrider in front, Jandd expedition II in back. The blackburn wore halfway through from contact with a metal part on the back of my pannier. They were light and simple, though. The tubus racks are a bit heavy, but incredibly stable. No sway whatsoever.
