Ick. I hope your HVAC system filter is up to snuff.
Sorry about the smoke Dipper. Here in Dallas we have been getting rain on and off since Thursday. I have a pallet of pavestones that got delivered Saturday morning and as of yet have not laid even one.

If this blows my plans for a romantic walk-in-the-park, I'll be pissed.
go buy some gas masks at the army navy store and show up with those!

Man, now I see why the Vietnam War sucked so bad. 93-plus degrees of heat + smoke and equipment.
Yeah...this drought blows (smoke) and sucks (nasty air).:(
At least pick up some particulate masks. Might make the date more memorable. :)

Is that stuff blowin' up from Florida? Or do y'all have your own ragin' wildfires goin' on down yonder? We now have over a 2" deficit on rain up here. :o

We've had 13 inches of rain this year (normal is 22). Fortunately no fires, but it's getting real dry.

I'm just glad the real bad portion of pollen season is over. Last spring was like a mustard gas attack.

Day-um! Them's some nice old trees out there, too! :(
Hope the alligators don't come knockin'!
It's awful here too (down 78 towards Athens), Dipper. Last time the smoke came up here you could see it, but not smell it so much, reminiscent of burning leaves. This time you can smell that more than just trees have been burning, there's defiantly some houses in the mix this time.

I was in Yellowstone during the devastating fires of 1988, and then was in Florida 10 years later, when that state went up in flames.
There's no way to get away from that horrid smell - even inside, with the A/C full blast.

Good luck man, I had to put up with that the other week....a huge haze of smoke was in the air, and it was so bad that even my jury rigged respirator (all the ones I could buy that would actually work worth anything were either out of my price range, or were already sold out) clogged up and started ashing up internally after 4 mins, so I rode home breathing that crap...I am still a bit tender of lung from that.
