I'm wondering if any has had problems with Firehouse Bicycles. I've had replace 2 crank arms in 2 weeks due to improper installation. :( I've paid for the service twice now any suggestions?

In any transaction that goes wrong for one side, keep talking with the decision makers of the place until you are unable to come to any agreement. Then your choices are

1) Stop patronizing that place (During the talking phase, take your bike to another shop and see if they can support your position.)
2) Report them to the local BBB. Use your intention to do this as a 'negotiating point' during the talking phase.
3) Small claims court (as already suggested)

In all phases it is far more productive to be reasonable in your stance and expect the same in return. If you aren't getting it, go one to the next step, if you so choose.

You could chalk it up to lesson learned, change shops and never look back.

Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I took it up to another shop yesterday and he confirmed my info. I just have to wait till Tuesday when they are open again, though I did send an email as well.

I took it back this morning, and Monica busted her ass to replace the spindle and crank arm, it seems to be fixed for now. We were both of the opinion if it happens again then I should probably take it to another shop but she was more than fair in doing the the rebuild w/ new parts for free.

However on staffer, Paul was a bit more...*unfriendly* about the issue.

I think Ill give another shop in town a go if I have more issues.

Update:

The rebuild is still holding up wonderfully. I actually bumped into both Paul and Monica on the road today and they checked up with me about the fix. Quite cool.
