It turns out that my buddy tweaked his knee yesterday and can't ride, so now I don't have a ride planned. Is there anything interesting going on that doesn't start before 9:00 am (I LOVE my sleep:D ). I know I'm asking a lot as everyone here likes to start there rides day before.:rolleyes:

Ralph...I'm going to ride at some point but I don't know when. I don't like getting up with the raccoons around here either.

Thanks Gretz, but I have to say that 8:00 is too early for me, I want to wake up just one time this weekend without an alarm.

This is a special Memorial Day ride, starting at the Huntington Beach Pier at 8am

Please join us on a 'BAGEL Ride' on Monday, 5/28. It is a 50+ mile easy pace ride to the Santa Ana River trail. We will ride all the way to Weir Canyon with an optional climb of Serrano, then stop at the Bagel place for coffee and bagel then back to Main St. HB for more coffee.

Well, if you leave the pier at 8:00 and head up the river trail you'll pass right by me (I get on it at the 405). Maybe I'll wait for the group to pass and hop on there. I ride a Specialized Roubaix Pro and use a team CSC colored bell helmet. I'll see what cjbruin is doing in the mean time.

Just going to bed now...I wouldn't wait on me...I'll probably ride in the afternoon.
