So my dropouts are 126mm. I'm going to use a road rear derailleur like a Shimano 105 (7speed). Does anyone know if I can use a road rear derailleur with rapid fire or sram twist shifters? If so, can someone tell me the model numbers of the shifters that will work with this setup?

Any Shimano road or MTB rear derailleur will work with any Shimano road or MTB shifter (obligitory disclaimer: does not apply to pre-9-speed Dura Ace) so you can use any Shimano Rapidfire shilter with your rear derailleur. SRAM shifters listed as "Shimano compatible" will also work.
