Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The wife and I are going to be riding the MS-150 this year and I had a couple of questions for people who have ridden it before.
- What kind of food and drink do they have at the rest stops?
- About how many people ride?
- If you are riding this year have you already signed up and made your hotel reservations? (Wondering how quickly they will fill up).
Thanks for any info you have.
I thin I'll try to make it this year. The last couple of years I have been unable to ride. There are many folks around town who do ride this and I can put you in touch with some of them if you like. Or you could go to Cahaba Cycles empire and ask anyone there and they can help.
Many companies in the area have "teams" as well as just folks banding together, getting "team" jerseys and going down.
The BBC Tuesday night world's from the Gardens is a good place to find 150 riders in person and get on a ride email list.
The SOL team and the AT&T (nee Bellsouth) team are the two largest in town. Look for SOL team members at the B'ham Bicycle Co, close to you in Crestline Park, and as jg says, the AT&T team at the Gardens on Tuesday nights. They'll hook you up.
