FYI
My company just enrolled in PhillyCarShare. It is a good alternaive to renting if you have to go shopping for big items or such.
example: I had my computer serviced by a company my job uses for IT, but I had to take the comp to work on the bus. Afterward, not wanting to go thru the whole crowded bus thing, I took a Taxi home and it cost me $20!
If we had been enrolled in PCS, it would have cost me $5.90 an hour - only 20 minutes driving, I would have been able to stop at Trader Joe's for some groceries on the way home.
Gas and Insurance included. Not bad. Though only available in Philly :(
Oh well!
