Foo - Since you weren't on Foo...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Flew from Denver to Bozeman at 8am. Slept for 3 hours after getting home and have since been sitting on the couch giving my best Jabba The Hutt impression.

Almost managed to play 30 seconds of Yngwie's "Baroque and Roll" at 1/5th the speed it's supposed ot be without screwing it up....I discovered why it was so hard, his guitar has every single string tuned down one note....D to D instead of E to E....that made everything fall into place :)
Really, guitar is not hard to learn....something I did learn....screw the instructional discs, CD, books, etc....just get some sheet music and or tabs and start from there....once i did that, I was learning FAR faster.
Oh, and the music stand can handle holding my laptop, so that's all good (no printing, save the f-----g trees!!!! woot!) :)
Wait, I wasn't on Foo?
I've been on the computer for most of the day so far. Even fell asleep for awhile with it still on my lap. I got the non-computery stuff done yesterday, so I guess today is for lazing about. :)

Did a 60 mile training loop with some serious climbing. I'm looking to take the gold in the 24 hour Texas Time Trial - recumbent division. 500 miles in 24 hours baybee!
Then home, nap, sex, and about to run out to see the new Pirates movie. Go me!
i laid pavestones, took a nap with my youngest son and goofed off.
500 miles in 24 hours baybee!
Wha? How is that even possible? It takes double century riders 12-15+ hours to do two hundred miles. You'd have to average over 21MPH for the whole period to go 500 miles in that time!

Hanging out, did some stuff around the house, went grocery shopping.

Well, he spent the whole weekend here. We rode the motorcycles (I had to ride the 250 since he kept on stalling it, so he'll be teased about that for a while), got barbecue (this IS NC after all), and then did some more ridin' ;)

got up early to ride some hill repeats to get my flatlander legs semi-prepared for the Horribly Hilly Hundreds three weeks from now. went out to lunch with the family. bought some curtain rods. grilled up some hot dogs and had some corn on the cob. took a two mile walk after dinner to lessen the guilt of eating too much. now about to go have a beer and start winding down. the end.

Started at 9. Rode ~39 miles with a new group of riding buddies. I pulled a lot. I had a blast. Good times. Then I did yard work (weed-wacked, mowed, installed landscape lighting) documented most of it with the camera phone.
Visited Sam Walton's to get another canister of gas. Bbq'd with the wife.
'twas a good day. The weather was absolutely perfect for anything. 75F and no clouds and very little wind.

Well, I was on foo a bit today, but really I was doing some database development for Finca Leola (I am the resident Geek and President), had a meeting about buying a tractor - had a person visit to cut my hair. It was expensive (6 dollars) but it was at my home so I can't complain. I also worked at recovering from the horseback ride with several people inquiring if I was sore - I was happy to say no, just tired. Cycling is good for crosstraining.

Today was productive ~ organized iTunes library, changed earphone nozzles, did a (approx.) 15 mi ride, waxed Merlin Frame, went food shopping, various bike repairs, assembled grill, cooked dinner, took tylenol :D

Ohhh- I thought you were working on this stuff all weekend. Hokay- I don't feel so bad now :p. I think the comps are going to have to wait a day, though.:(
woke up, putz'd around, went to her place for a hike & lunch, went to work, made a good dinner, back to putzing around before beds.
Was sposed to do a 30 miler with wife ,ate a big lunch instead and bagged that idea. Borrowed a friends dump truck to get 15 yards of mulch and mulched our entire property in 1 day( which is like doing a century)
