Well this maybe another bag thread but I've got the needle this time:eek: !
I want to see pics, yes your pics of your bag crammed to the fullest! Whatever you can fit in it. I've seen some pics around other threads, but this will be the conglomeration of bag capacity pics.
A battle royal of maximum capacity bags. The only stipulation is that you must actually have ridden with the load on your back. Sometime the loads I carry seem like my collarbones are going to snap, but I press on any ways. And the looks from the drivers you pass are priceless.

This was from my recent grocery trip for baking goods. I've carried 2gal of milk and bread in this bag before.
The green thing is my laptop protector. I sometime use it as back pad, for more comfort.

You can't fit deep Vs in a civilian unless they're deflated. Even then, with tires on, it's a bit of a stretch.
EDIT: You can't fit them in a civilian at all. I have to deflate them to barely get them into my courier.

Well, no pic but today I carried a gallon of milk, rain pants, a rain jacket, two cans of spraypaint and 3 packs of CFL's in my mess bag. It was pretty full
Once I actually fit my BIKE in my bag.
Yes.

I once carried a case of beer, my usual assortment of tools (15mm wrench, small pump, tire levers, tube), 2 mini u-locks, wallet/cell and stuff and a 3-ring binder in my Banjo Brothers bag. Then I rode up a really long hill with it.
That pretty much blew.
EDIT: The beer was Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout though, so it was worth it.

Those straps are pulled all the way out eh. prolly had to squat to fit under the side mirrors of the cars.
I was riding with a full load the other week and totally wacked this Navigator's side mirror. I bet he was pissed but I didn't stay to find out, just sprinted through the red light ahead, next free left and I was home. Kinda like punching the neighborhood bully and than running home to base to be safe.

yea i was afraid of doing just that, so i acted like a car the whole ride through. drivers were pissed at me and i was kinda happy cuz now they couldn't do the 3 inches away pass like some do.
i have to put on my hater hat.
a bag is just a bag right?
you put your crap in a bag and then you pull it out.
if you want a big bag go buy a large bag, they do exist.
man am i fu ck ing crabby.
edit: the most stuff ive carried on the bike would be a whole case(12 bottles) of wine plus my shop tools. most days its my 17 laptop, shop tools, bike tools, books, accordian portfolio, some snacks, a jacket and maybe some weed. weed because getting high makes stupid sh*t like being on bike forums totally okay with oprah.

My favorite is the guy who carried his 8 and 10 yo daughters (separately) in a MEDIUM Bailey Works bag. I have one of these also, and you can truly fit a lot in them.

This was my old Chrome metropolis. I also had two panniers with groceries and the fork to this frame on the rack. My new bag is larger, but I haven't pushed it.

I once carried a vice in my bag, it weighted around 50 pounds. It really did. It and the box it came in filled my timbuk2 bag to the max. My collar bone was like broken afterwards. However, I am impressed it actually fit.

^^ kinda defeats the "golite" premise... but it's nice to know they don't fall apart past 40lbs.

I carried a big ol' 14" TV/VCR combo in my Chrome Kremlin. I had to walk with that one for about a mile. That was no fun. Not comfortable at all.
I have also carried on separate occasions: a full sized BBQ propane tank (full) - I was actually able to wear the bag normally when doing this; 2 different compact-industrial sewing machines - these weren't huge, but they weighed a lot ...
