Foo - One more geeky reason to love the internets

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

There must be something wrong with me. I can't get enough of these stupid lolcats!

I love those lolcats. But think there must still be something slightly more wrong with you. Lolcode? I don't get it.
Well, it's the foundations of a programming language based on lolcat-speak (edit: as I said, a geeky reason ;))
HAI -- begin program
CAN HAS STDIO? -- ask for standard input/output
VISIBLE "HAI WORLD!" -- display "Hello World"
KTHXBYE -- end program

Don't worry, I'm a programmer, I get it. Somehow just doesn't have the same effect without a picture of a cat though :)
Fair enough -- but that means there must be "something slightly more wrong" with me :o

exactly ;)
(I'm more of an ex-programmer, maybe some normality have seeped into my head in the intervening years)

Same boat. I don't get it. I used to program heavily (though not a programmer by training .. an electrical engineer).
I mean, I get the syntax, but the point escapes me without real feline images/icons.
Well, it turns out I'm not the only one with something more wrong with me ;)

Oh gosh...that's scary.
How do you declare a variable 'foo' and assign it a value 'bar'?
