My fork seems to be sticky instead of moving up and down fluidly. It is practically brand new with less than 10 rides so wear should not be an issue. What could be the problem?

try some stanchion lube. Finish line makes some. That is what was recommended when I replaced the seals and wipers on my Fox. See if it helps, it did on mine.

On a fork that new, the insides probably just need quenching. Turn it upside-down for a minute to distribute some oil.

You have exceeded the recommended service life of your Rockshox Dart. The Dart is designed to perform adequately for 7 hours...just enough for a few test rides to cinch the sale.

Some stanchion lube may "band aid" the problem.

Exactly ,break it in.Ten change oil.

Could it be the rebound damping is cranked up?

People have told me that new forks need "warming up". Try rolling down some stairs and they should work fine.

I had a Judy J2 (I think) that did that. There was nothing to be done to ease the stiction. It's just a lower line fork that performs as well as it can. You can't expect Revelation performance from it. It sucks up the big hits decently, but you will feel pretty much every small bump on the trail.
