Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I promised results, and they were finally posted!
I placed 6th among all of the women in my event on Saturday.
Final King of the Mountains standing...4th place in the under 50 women, baby! :D

I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't THRILLED! :D :D :D I started riding just a year ago and took several breaks along the way, so there's only room to improve next year!

A hearty congrats Brandy! The web site says "Completing any one of these rides is a huge accomplishment in and of itself. Riding all three... well, all we can say is, "We Salute You!!!" I think that about says it all, especially with only a year under your belt. Outstanding!

You are a rockstar! Just awesome. Congrats!
Wow, congrats and bravo to ya, Brandy.
Also, holy crap, you've only been riding for a year? That's even more incredible.
Boy do I feel like a shiftless bum, now. :p

"3 Days, 323 Miles, 30,800 feet of climbing!"
My, I'm getting tired just thinking about that. Nice job. :)

Congratulations, Brandy. That's quite the athletic achievement. :)

Oh, I suppose if you start at 22 miles, there's nowhere to go but way, way up. :)

Vega says, "Thunk."
There's nothing left to say. You are awesome, gf!
I hope to meet you in person, and to sap all your wonderful Brandy energy for my own. Bwah-hahahahaha! :D

Thanks, my dear. Now I have to figure out how to follow in your time trialling footsteps and still train for these ultra events next year. Hmmm... The coach says it's a no-go, but I never listen to him anyway. :p <~~~stubborn girl. Just kidding...now I have to give props to Vireo, my inspiration...my ass kicker...the one I curse when I'm climbing. He's taught me to push myself beyond my perceived limits and without his support, I never would have attempted these epic rides. http://www.smileypad.com/v221/Personal/Kiss-On-Cheek.gif
Oh...and come up to Atlantic City on June 20th, it's my only East Coast appearance this summer. :roflmao: Fair warning...after 8 days on the road with two grouchy riders and 11 other crew members, I'm not going to be smelling or lookin' pretty. :p

I could do the 323 miles and 30,800 feet of climbing . . . if the time frame was extended by a couple of months.:p
Way to go, Brandy. That is no small accomplishment, and you should be every bit as thrilled about it as it sounds like you are.
