In a few weeks I'll be riding from the island of Mors in the Limfjord region to Skagen in the north of Jutland. Can anyone tell me if the prevailing winds will be in my face, at my back, or sideways?

Many thanks!

Nevs--How serious are you about the wind, and is such a trip advisable in a country where there are so many other places to ride?

I did a loop around Denmark, and I swear I had a headwind no matter which direction I was going.

How much of a drag (literally) was it? I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to bike inland, around Limfjord.

No, inland didn't make much of a difference. I began along the German border and ended there. I biked on Aero (wonderful little island), Fyn, then through Copenhagen, north, then a ferry west to Jutland, and finally southwest through Jutland to the SW coast. I wouldn't worry too much about the wind. Rain could be a bigger issue, however. Maybe you'll get lucky as I did, rain-wise.

I'm preparing for the rain, but hoping my preparations will be unnecessary...
