My left calf is bigger than my right!! Have any of you ever experienced this problem? What did you do to solve it? I did some one-legged pedaling exercises to check my pedaling technique, and I definitely pedal much more efficiently with my left than with my right. My left foot does a smooth circle, while my right just does this nasty flopping up and down motion. :(

My only plan of attack for now is just to spend a month pedaling exclusively with my right leg. LOL j/k. Another thing I'm planning is buying a set of rollers, but even so I'm not totally confident that that will be able to correct it.

I teach skiing, where, as you might expect, asymetry is a problem. Everyone has a stronger side. What we emphasize is doing the hardest tasks in your favorite direction first, but all other drills we emphasize the weaker side. To bring this into cycling, what you would try to do is exercise the weaker side more, both by doing weightlifting exercise, and by pedaling using the weaker side, letting the other side go along for the ride.
