I still cry about how Gilda was cut down so early in life.
My X wife and I met her at NBC one nite after a show
( we were regulars for the broadcasts)

I was a computer systems support person for NBC back in the day and would get tickets just about every week. CTW (Children's Television Workshop) Sesame Street as well.
After the first few months security stopped asking so my close friends lucked out too :0)

For the stuff he's done since the show: Bill Murray.

For pretty much being the backbone of the show for much of the 80s and 90s, as well as being one incredibly, yet subtly, funny mofos on there: Phil Hartman.

Best guest: Steve Martin (old days) or Christopher Walken (more recently.)


SNL hasn't been funny in at least 5 or 6 years though. I knew it was bad when I chose MAD TV over SNL one night.
