Foo - OMG 72 grams WTF

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So I just had a Claim Jumper's Chicken Pot Pie for dinner. The microwavable kind. It was yummy. Then about 4 minutes later I had a feeling like I just swallowed a pound of butter and I checked the label. k, a little late. The goddamn thing had 72 grams of fat in it. That's like more than I typically eat in two days.
Holy crap! Is it okay if I throw up now or should I just not eat for a week?

Not only was it loaded in fat, it probably had lots of flaky, carby crust. Also, microwave ovens destroy vitamin content in all foods.
Thanks for the reassurance.

Wow...I was thinking that wasn't too much, but then I did the math: 2.5 oz. That's over half a cube.
Don't throw up though...you also probably got 30+ grams of protein. Don't want it to go to waste.

Kitty knows exactly what kitty is doing.

No big deal. I used to make popcorn with an entire stick of butter. Then melt more, and dump it on after it popped.
These days, I have olive and walnut oil instead.

They gots these fried onion things here, wonderful things. Not like onion rings, these are packaged fried dried up onion bits. Wonderful in sandwiches.
The package says they're 78% onions. Yet somehow the stuff has like 80% fat. wtf? I figured they were legally bound to be somewhat honest in their packaging contents.

Is what I've heard about chocolate sprinkle sandwiches true? Is that really a thing in the Netherlands?

Considering the amount of fat that Zinn-X consumed I think he'd be electrically insulated from a lightning strike. Static electricity is of no concern. :D

One of my friends has the same breakfast every morning - slice of bread with butter and chocolate sprinkles.
It's quite common. Now raw herring, that's a truly disturbing culinary habit.
The Dutch are a funny people. Just wait until you check out their toilets.
I'm going to buy a tub of chocolate sprinkles today.

I love those little chicken pot pies but limit myself to about 1 per year for just this reason.
