I’m not sure if I can call it rubbing elbows with ‘the man’ (he is most definitely the ‘the man’ in my book) just yet. ;) This was most certainly a huge confidence builder though…

I think I remember mumbling something about [pg version]man dang, there goes my chances[/pg version] when that guy posted his images. I had my fingers crossed hopping I still might win the week, but oh well. And there is no bummed feelings for sure.

I'm not sure if even the awesomeness of flash guy could have helped out on this one... That guys photos where really flippen good. :p

I am the only one that wasn't really impressed with the winning photo? It's a cool scene, but if not for the natural conditions present it's average to my untrained eye. I kinda equate it to a guy winning a best director oscar because he just happened to be the guy directing a really well written screenplay.

I tend to agree - - to a point. However, are we to discount the work of Ansel Adams just because he happened to be tripping the shutter in Yosemite - -admittedly one of the most stunning places on Earth? :D
