Laffeyette(Boulder) to Fort Collins ride?

I am looking for suggestions on routes to Fort Collins and back (approximate century). I don't want to try 287 the whole way. That doesn't sound too exciting.

my route sounds tricky on paper but is actualyl pretty easy, the other route suggested sounds pretty ace too, though i've never ridden it, it runs parallel to mine.

and neither involves 287 at all. terrible. yuck.
