im thinking about selling my 2005 haro shift r3. i bought it for 850, and recently replaced the swingarm and put on bb7's. The fork needs new bushings but other than that the bike is in great condition. how much do you think i could sell it for?

Nope...

JK

Bought for $850 2 yrs ago...I'd say $400-$500 depending on the condition.

Used bikes go for crap these days...I'd keep her and get what you want put on layaway.

Dang...as bad as gas prices are?

You should tell them that you're saving them sooooo much $$$ by having a bike as transportation and a hobby.

Dunno your situation, but that's gotta be worth somethin'.

mountain biker 3000 you can have more then three lines of text per post.

Anyway I've got a full and a hardtail, I pretty much always ride the dual because its better, or at least I am less terrible on it. It is nice to have both, having a back up bike has been real handy.

bb7's, speed dial seven levers, compressionless cables, titec stem, sr suntour fork, probably needs to be rebuilt, the wheels set is a bolt on that came off a p2, pretty nice, x7 shifters, needs a new derailluer and hanger, but i will fix that. linky (http://www.harobikes.com/2005/mtb/shift-r3.php) medium size, i am 5'8". I can either put on time atac z pedals or haro platform pedals. DO you need any other details?

Ahhhh, I see which way you're trying to go. Wanna build a jumper and ditch the trail bike.

Ya know...I saw a Jackal go for less than $500 on eBay a few months ago. It blew me away. Maybe you should think about selling the dually and getting a used jump bike already built.

used won't due, my parents probably will say, why don't you buy a new one that will last you longer? my thinking is i have a really nice wheelset, really nice brakes, good crankset, good shifters, good headset?, good stem, handlebars, grips, why not just buy a frame, a fork, rear derailluer, and a bottom bracket

and then sell the frame

Weren't they blowing out Kona Scrap's or something like that for $99 at Wheelworld?

like 180 but the thirteen inch is too small, i would also like it to be steel, except if i get the azzonic. if i were to get a kona, that could only take 100mm fork, i would get the sette shadow, free derailluer hangars and supposed to be a great frame. But I don't know if 100mm will be able to handle me, 185 lbs, doing 4-5 foot drops.

Would dealing with the problem until you become a member of the voting class and then doing whatever it is that you want be an option?

Right now the azonic steelhead is looking pretty good, with a marzocchi all mountain 140mm, cane creek headset(comes with fork), face face isis bb, new rear derailluer
i like that if i feel like riding a single speed i can with that bike, its got the track ends yet its got a hanger also

breaking news:
dad made comment that sounds as if he agrees as long as i use the components, not sure why i wouldn't, but thats okay. so it will cost me half the price and will be exactly what i want
