is it easier to haul the MTB to the forest, or just ride the MTB to the forest?

Definitely easier to haul the mtb. full rigid with road tires(even with all the weight) beats a dual susp any day

Also, the tires on the mtb are soft rubber and while great on trails, will wear off extremely fast on pavement.:)
