Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Faster Crooked Clyde!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My moving speed over the past couple of rides has been above 11 MPH. And I had a three mile time trial yesterday that clocked in at 13.6 MPH. Just imagine what will happen when I put the slicks on!
Thanks to my fellow Clydes for your advice and encouragement.

Excellent! +1 to the slicks idea. Although, a guy on a mtn bike with knobby tires did pass me yesterday at 20mph on the river path! Never happened to me before! Wow!

How many miles you plan to ride on the MS event? I myself I am participating on the MS150 Rock n Roll event in September. It's 2-day 75 miles each day event.

Most excellent Neil, watch out for time slip as your speed increases :D
P.S. Are you riding in the PA Dutch MS ride in July?

112 miles for the week ending today. It would have been more, but I cut short my riding because of rain.

I redid the time trial on a more suitable course:
Distance: 3.08 miles
Time: 11 minutes 17 seconds
MPH: 16.378
And I still am rolling on the comfort bike tires!
