Hey, Dexmax? What kind of front chainrings are these?
It looks similarly to some silver color shimano I just bought few days ago.
53 teeth big ring?

chainring came with crankset... 52T Biopace HP(High Performance)

Shimano Sante.. I removed the white powder finish and had it refinished..

Good for a 10year old crank, huh? It is slightly used(was on my old roadbike).. About 100-150kms back then..

I just bought the chapest... 24 bucks for both, chainrings pedal cranks. In fact, the chainring is a Shimano product, but the left crank is made by Sugino, oh well :D, that's the only one they had.

I've got to admire someone who has the courage to put flame, flux and brazing rod to steel and create their own bike. It's something I really want to do myself someday... maybe a recumbent trike, a recumbent lowracer, a workbike... even a trailer.

Good stuff dex. Are you happy with the way it turned out? What about the angles you were toying with the early stages? How does it ride? And does it talk to you?

the first one I designed and built was a recumbent bike.. a two-seater actually.. and had four wheels.. And was left-hand drive:D

the second one was a recumbent bike with three wheels (1rider only).:D

ROADBIKE:
It rides great.. I didn't use a vertical dropout(on purpose) so I can move the wheel slightly forward and backward.. and the good thing is, the brake can reach the rim(just little pad adjustments) perfectly in either position.. So i can play with the wheel (about 2cm).

Moving the wheel(rear) backward gives more comfort and has a tourbike feel. But moving it forward makes it a full blown racer! yahoo!!!!

Do you think the geometry looks odd? Or does it look like a regular road frame?

It has a longer than normal toptube, and the toptube is slightly sloping..

The seatpost is machined and is not height adjutable.. I am just happy that my computations were correct... or else the seat would either be too high or too low.. But it is just perfect!

Yes, i am so pleased with the results..

The tubeset is a mix of Columbus Double Butted Cr-Mo and Tange Prestige Cr-Mo Butted(from old roadbikes).

The fork is Carbon(Look HSC, the older version ones).

You want one of these? There are a lot of framebuilders out there. I can send you the geometry if you like, and you can ask them to build a similar frame..

If you can PM your inseam and reach specs to me, I can modify the geometry for you.

$3000 is a lot of money.. I'm sure you can get pretty much any bike you like if you have that much to spare..
