Training & Nutrition - Anyone using a Taylor bodyfat scale?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I got a Taylor body fat monitoring scale last month and have yet to get it to work. The weight works fine, but the body fat measurement always gives me "Err4" for Error 4. The manual says to correct this by making sure your feet are moist when you stand on it. Well, I've stood on with a range of dry feet to damp feet to dripping wet feet... and still nothing.
I'm going to get it back out sometime to try different profile settings to see if that changes anything, but other than that, I don't know what to try.
Anyone else use this and have a similar problem?

Sounds like a dud. See if you can return it. You should only need slightly damp feet.
IMO, the Taylor brand sucks. My mom had one (non body fat), and even though its resolution was 1 lb (I prefer 0.2 lb), it still would not give the same reading when stepping off/on.
My opinion - inaccurate, and inconsistent. Compared to a good brand (e.g., the Tanita line), they're duds.

I am. I guess it's pretty accurate, although I wish it weren't. (I want it to lie to me and tell me I'm not 30% fat :( )

Thanks for the advice.
Luckily this was just for sh*ts and giggles - it was a $100 scale on sale for $18 in the amazon.com treasure chest :)

I've been using one for a month and it works fine....a little finicky to get it set up right but it works fine now.
