hey im in the market to get a new bike and i cant decide wether it would be better to get a fully for 6/12/24hr racing and xc racing or get the kula deluxe its lighter but hardtail, I weigh 150. The king kikapu has 4in of travel im not only going to be rqacing on the bike i get il be messing around like small drops and stuff and stairs. any suggestions

Hmmmm ... for straight XC racing I'd go with the Kula (I own one) but I wouldn't use mine for jumps or bangin' down stairs. Which one do you plan to do the most? Sounds like the FS might be the better way to go if you plan on roughing things up regularly.

il mostly be doing xc racing and enduro events
Long races = full suspension. This from a rider who has done a few long races on his hardtail.

Yup. I would not do long races on my Kula. Sounds to me like the Kikapu would be the way to go.

yah i race probly 18 xc races a year and like 9
enduros a year
I've had the King Kikapu for 1.5 years, so far so good. Great bike, though I wish it was a bit lighter. I don't race, mostly 1-3 hour XC rides.

Not sure how much the king kikapau weighs and how much it costs, but if your really getting serious, i would look at the rocky mountain etsx-team. It is their top of the line bike for marathons. It will also have 5 inches of travel on it and with spd's it weighs in the 24-25lb range.
