Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Met a riding partner at the intersection of Los Virgenes and Mulholland at 9am this morning to do the Piuma/Stunt loop. (mulholland to Cold Canyon to Piuma to Schuren to Stunt to Mulholland and back) 20 miles, and 1800 ft of climbing (I think).
First. That's a great ride. Second, mid-week is traffic-free. No sportbikes. Maybe two Harleys. Very few cars. Highly recommended. Wish I could do that every week.
We used to skate down both Piuma and Stunt, but decided it was too easy. Stunt has deteriorated a lot, especially below the 180 right. Still a good descent though.

I've found Saturday mornings are almost equally motorcycle/car free out there. Lots of variations for pain in that route with Tuna, Las Flores, and Fernwood to Topanga up there as well.
