Today is a watershed day for me, 1 yr to the day that I decided to start riding and getting in better shape. In that time I have acheived the following:

Weight: Lost 80 lbs From 375 to 295
Dropped 10 pants sizes and 8 shirts sizes.
Total Miles: 2667.2
Metric Centurys: 2
Longest Ride: 75.3
Longest Ride in Hours: 5:17

I never believe my results would have been this good, but at the same time I know I would have done better if not for my injury. If nothing else, I have proven to myself I can maintain my weight without the biking. I have not gained a pound in the 4 weeks since my injury. That is a success in my book.

So, here to a new month, a new year and trying to get in 300 miles before my surgery.

Thanks, I'm really happy with it, but was hoping to hit the Century mark in the weight category too. Soon, very soon, I can see I'm just about to break out of this pause in my weight loss I've had for a month now.

It'll happen bro, soon as your body realizes OK, time to lose again. You are just at a prior setpoint.

Just keep your mind on it and it will happen. I don't know if my results were normal or not, but I can say that PORTION CONTROL was the key for me. I was never a really bad eater, but what I did eat, I ate a lot of. I cut my portions in half and stopped eating some of my favorite non-healthy things so much. I did not cut them out entirely, cause that is just not reasonable, but I just eat sensibly now. Although I will say in the last year, I have eatin Ice Cream about 4 times. That used to be a 5 times a week habit and have had Chinese food twice. That one was is a killer, loves me the Chinese food, but man is it bad for you with all the fried stuff and sauces..........but sounds good right now. :p

Did I mention Portion Control?
