As mentioned in other threads, I'm thinking of getting out of the corporate world, and pursuing another path. Right now, I'm looking into buying a franchise or 2 of a restauarant and making a go of it that way. Would really like to talk to someone who's done this or doing this now.

Siu bought a part share in a BBQ restaurant (or something like that) franchise.

Wasn't that it, Siu?

Yes indeed. Though I do not like to talk business as much in public view. But I will be more than happy to help if I can. ;)

Profit margins tend to be lower in franchises.
