Fifty Plus (50+) - Such a miserable, dreary day out today

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Overcast, cold, and windy. Just dark, dank, and gray :(
Think I'll go for a ride :D
No riding here today, rain all day...so maybe, probably, yes there will be time tomorrow...
peace

I took today off from riding, as I did yesterday. I'm still feeling the effects of the half century, and I was going to ride (easy) today but just didn't get a Round Tuit. I'll hit the streets tomorrow, though. It's the weekend!

No rain here today but they are predicting scattered showers for the next two days. The weatherman says we should be able to ride in the mornings but need to finish before afternoon as that's the best chance of rain. One of our local weathermen is a member of the cycling club and he always works the scheduled weekend cycling events into his forecast.
I plan on doing the Covered Bridge Tour Saturday morning (45 miles) and the Strawberry Festival ride Sunday morning. One of the fellows in our group always does his birthday ride on this tour and I'll be joining him for mine. He'll be doing 66 miles and I'll be doing 64. His wife said she would pick me up 2 miles from the finish so I didn't have to over shoot my age:rolleyes:

Heh heh...he's got a good wife! (Somehow, I doubt you'd stop at 64 if he's doing 66)

Flood warnings here. Thank goodness I went for my ride earlier. Got home just in time too. I'd been here about ten minutes when it started raining like hell with hail in it. Still pouring as I type.

...And she'll probably put her pump in his spokes if he tries to pass her at the finish line. :D
