Foo - Dumbest Minds of Modern Times?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So here's the Yang to the Yin of all these threads about the greatest minds of our times...
I hereby nominate Mohammed Saeed Al-Sahaf, former Iraqi Information Minister, for his complete and utter inability to recognize defeat.

I'm sure there are better ones out there, but he came to mind first. Definitely check out the "M.S.S. Throughout History" link. ;)

Seems to be a lot of that going around these days.

GW?
I mean c'mon, when a small volunteer firestation in Florida sends aid to New Orleans faster than the Commander in Chief of arguably the most powerful country in the world... That's gotta be up there.

Hehe... :)
Certain nominations are off-limits to me by virtue of my lot in life...

I nominate Cindy Sheehan for wrecking her marriage, alienating her family, and making a general ass of herself in public just to prove the Prez ruined her life.

I love the "dumbest minds" thing--makes it easy to keep believing you're smart, and saves you all that pesky thinking business.
Is self nomination allowed? just asking.

I don't want a debate. I'm just asking people's opinions.

**** may roll down hill, but you're not above me. If you need a punching bag, look elsewhere.
I take crap off of nobody, and that includes you. I figure fair is fair. You out of the blue go and trash my thread, so why shouldn't I do the same?

I feel quite comfortable with my belief that it's wrong to blow my pets' heads off with shotguns, thanks. If that makes me an enemy somehow, I can live with that just fine.
You're big and important. Feel better?

I don't consider myself big or important. I just hold grudges against people who slam me.
Bike Joust!
And to the topic: George Rex and Prince Wolfowitz

There are plenty of people who agreed with my comments in that thread... make sure you keep your whole list current.

Seconded. Arguments can be settled through PM's. Not to be confused with PMS, which starts many argu... Uh, never mind, I'll shut up now. :o
And if anyone was offended, that was meant as nothing more than a little humor to lighten the mood - feel free to send me a PM if you feel otherwise ;)

No offense taken, in fact it's appreciated.

I'll nominate the people who decided to put a caveman sit-com on the air.
Bam Margera needs to be high on the list too.
Forever ago I guessed that commercial series was going to be made into a tv show.

Has that actually aired anywhere? I obviously haven't been keeping up.

I'd have to disagree with putting Bam Margera on the list....he didn't graduate high school and he has figured out that he can sell his asinine stunts in television form to the American tv viewer. By the way...he is a millionaire from his stupidity. I guess stupidity is how you define it...

Forever ago I guessed that commercial series was going to be made into a tv show.
Or the other way 'round...it's all the same really, televison. Just a sales pitch with explosions and cleavage.
I personally nominate the gargantuan drooling gestalt mass symbiote that eats Cheetoes and beers, and burps during sentimental scenes in classic films before flipping back to the game, eyes glued to the tube.
Free your minds, and your asses will follow....hopefully on a bicycle. It beats walking, and I like walking.

Well since it's been clarified that only opinions are sought...
I nominate anyone who's bought a new American car made car after 1970.
An even dumber subset in the above are those who bought a caravan.
And the dumbest caravan owners buy this, a "Caravan Sport". Talk about freakin' denial.

I nominate Steve-O for this award....anyone stupid enough to tattoo their own face on their entire back, giving two thumbs up, with the quote "Dude, I rock!"....is a moron of an incredibly high caliber.
other dumb things he did:
pulled a fishhook through his cheeck, then allowed himself to be used as the bait for shark fishing.
wore a fishbowl that had a hose coming out of it, that went to a funnel....and some guy was farting into the funnel.
....I can't go into it anymore, too much of this stuff is not board appropriate....all i would say is if he was my child, I would change my name...

Once again...like Bam Margera, Steve-O is a millionaire because of his stunts. The things he does might be stupid but he has found a way to essentially make money appear out of thin air.

Exactly. That's why anyone famous (if they have gained their fame through their own accord) should not be considered dumb.
So the person you are looking for is probably in this list. (http://www.darwinawards.com/)

People who shell out for lottery tickets every week?
People who accept invitations to mod forums? Self nomination again.
